Stonehouse Action are a group of local residents and organisations. We see ourselves as a ‘mushroom field’ – a great supportive environment for projects, ideas and activities to develop and make connections that benefit the local community.
Each year we host a huge Street Party along Union Street and we are currently running Union Corner – a space for local people to try new things, test ideas and make new connections.
These are some of the projects and organisations we are currently supporting:
Stonehouse 100 homes, Grow Stonehouse, Nudge Community Builders, Stonehouse Timebank, Stonehouse Scouts, Plymouth Anxiety and Depression Support Group, Mums for change and Fotonow.
Next meeting: Is on Tuesday 22nd May at Union Corner from 1.30-2.30pm. This is an EGM to elect a new chair for Stonehouse Action, we had one expression for interest ( see below). All welcome.
The papers below from our Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 28th February 18 and the roles of Chair and Vice Chair. Hannah and Wendy stepped down from their roles and it is now a rolling chair for each meeting until someone new is elected:
Stay tuned for updates.
